On the third Saturday of August, more than 30,000 muscle cars, hot rods, custom and collector vehicles came together to take part in what is considered the world’s biggest cruise, The Woodward Dream Cruise. Covering the 31 mile stretch of eight lane highway from Motor city to Pontiac, Woodward boulevard sees car enthusiasts from all over the United States, Canada and internationally come together to recreate what used to take place here in its heyday, cruising the strip! He spied a 1964 Fairlane Thunderbolt in a magazine one day and decided that was the car for him but with only 100 of these factory experimental drag cars produced, he knew he wasn’t going to be able to get his hands on a genuine one so the only option was to build his own.
