The city of Detroit has had its fair share of kicks brought on by the fallout of the GFC yet in true style that typifies a hard knock city with a motoring history, has managed to pick itself up, dust itself off and host one of the biggest automotive celebrations on the planet!
On the third Saturday of August, more than 30,000 muscle cars, hot rods, custom and collector vehicles came together to take part in what is considered the world’s biggest cruise, The Woodward Dream Cruise. Covering the 31 mile stretch of eight lane highway from Motor city to Pontiac, Woodward boulevard sees car enthusiasts from all over the United States, Canada and internationally come together to recreate what used to take place here in its heyday, cruising the strip!
