For only its third show, this Show N Shine event has outdone itself seeing the Werribee Civic Centre car park and surrounding grounds filled to capacity. Raising funds for cancer and supported by the Cruzin Knights car club, it holds its own among the primary events listed on our car show calendar. With perfect weather and energetic eagerness, the organisers had their work cut out for them as a steady stream of cool cars and bad ass bikes converged on the Princess Hwy precinct eager to park up and check out the display.
Static demonstrations from a couple of wild shoe box Chevy dragcars fired up the elated automotive enthusiasts while a jumping castle and other junior activities kept the littlies entertained. Plenty of old school Aussie and American muscle could be found while a great assortment of rods and classics ensured there was something for everyone. There were just as many bikes on display showcasing everything from originals to custom Harleys.
With a sausage sizzle to feed the hungry hoards and a trophy presentation finishing off the day, satisfaction was guaranteed for all those who attended and confirming a return to next year’s event with friends in tow.
See you all there next year!
Keep on cruising,
