G’day all!

Cool brush work by Bobby!
On our travels in America, we stopped by Old Crow Speedshop and wandered through the front yard filled with patina covered classic trucks and cars to find one of the guys finishing up some cool brush work on a newly completed salt racer. The bloke with the brush introduced himself as Bobby and after introductions proceeded to show us around their amazing workshop! Created from a group of likeminded friends, this rod shop has one goal in mind; to preserve the historical art of land speed racing! Based in Burbank, C.A, they build, restore and replicate everything from classic belly tanks, cool pickups and any other old school ride that grabs their attention. Filled with classic and eclectic memorabilia covering floor to ceiling from the age old vocation of hot rodding, there seemed to be little room to work yet numerous projects were in the process of completion from an old style single seater salt racer to patina finished restored pickups. The Old Crow team were in the process of getting ready for the upcoming Bonneville Speed trials and looking forward to testing out a couple of their classic racers including an historic belly tank powered by a H&H banger motor.
I’d like to thank Bobby for taking the time out of his day to show a bunch of Aussies around his place and wish the Old Crow team all the best at Bonneville. You can follow Old Crow Speedshop on Instagram with some great pics and posts.
Keep on cruisin’
Greg
