Starting up a new business from scratch can be pretty daunting especially when your business requires a large premise and expensive equipment! Creating enough fuss on start up to attract attention is another challenge and, if not done right, can be the beginning of the end of your business!
Brendan and Joanne are a young couple taking the dive into self-employment with an automotive based business requiring a decent financial outlay required to do it properly as well create the right amount of attention to make sure your potential customers know where you are.
Backlash Automotive is a mechanical based business specialising in modifications and customisation to late model rides such as your Commodores and Falcons along with numerous European based marques so it was only fitting that your open day is going to involve a car show!
With the business located in Nevada Crt, Hoppers Crossing, Brendan and his crew were able to utilise the dead end street to their advantage and did so with an impressively visual result! As the low slung customised rides arrived, they were directed to back up on a 45 degree angle to the grass verge creating a great car show scene resplendent of scenes found in the Fast and Furious movies. Numerous carparks flanking the street were also used to their full potential as car clubs and groups filled them up ready to enjoy the family orientated day!
Complementing the automotive art show were the side attractions, jumping castle for kids, food vans for lunch and snacks while a DJ pumped out the tunes adding to the overall ambience of the day! Saint Side set up shop and displayed a cool custom cycle even the big kids had their eye on!
The sunny day rolled on as cruisers came and went, filling the empty spots as quick as they opened up till early afternoon and the presentations, raffle draws and final proceedings brought the show to a close. The team of Backlash Automotive could satisfactorily close up shop for the day content in the knowledge they had made a strong a positive impact on all who attended and should be very successful in their business’s future!
If you’re looking to take your ride out of the main stream and into mod scene then why not check these guys out? You can find them on Facebook or via their website: Backlash Automotive
Keep on cruisin’
Cheers,
Greg
