American classics are known for their opulence and when gathered together in one exquisitely landscaped facility such as Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse, you can be sure to be visually stimulated with copious amounts of old school bing, bright paint and outrageous styling not seen on your daily drivers these days!
The annual All American Day put on by the AOMC and sponsored by Shannons Insurance saw a classy turnout of cool classic rides of all American Marques with an impressive array of club displays.
The Bowties and Henry Ford brigade showed strong with almost a quarter of the grounds occupied by every colour and style of classic pony while multiple lanes catered for the Corvettes in all their various guises. Center stage was reserved for those vying for car of the day with Dodges, Ramblers, Studebakers and numerous rare marques could be found filling out the remaining manicured lawns.
Trade stand alley grows in size each year while activities for the children were once again on hand for their entertainment. Fletch from Classic Restos was spotted making his way around with camera in hand bringing you another entertaining episode of the event in the near future.
A big hand goes out to the AOMC and organisers for their faultless job of organising this prestige event for us automotive enthusiasts to attend and enjoy.
