It’s that time of year again as the jolly man with his led sled full of custom gifts for all the good rockabilly boys and girls rolls into the final Rats, Tatts n Pinups event for the year at the Chelsea Heights Hotel! He’s here to bring Christmas cheer to all the hard working Kingpin Kuztum team and their loyal band of fans! Little does he know they’ve been celebrating the good times on a regular basis, at least once a month if not more!! No wonder his sled is so light on with pressies!! They’ve all been bad but they are good at it! Sorry guys, doesn’t count!!
The architectural styling of the ALH Group owned Chelsea Heights hotel contrasted beautifully with the eclectic array of cool customs and classic cars, bikes and other associated radical rides that rolled into the expansive car park of the outer Melbourne venue. Many came to help celebrate the Christmas spirit the event is designed around. Santa and his foxy helper kept the devoted rockabilly fans entertained with their antics while still finding time to pose for all the boys, both big and small!

Inside the spacious entertainment precinct, four bands rocked the day away by keeping the dance floor full with dress twirling gals and jive moving men! The impressive line-up included the likes of interstate legends Pat Capocci, The Lincolns and A Band Called Twang along with local heros, Itchy Fingers just to keep the sound quality at 100%!
Outside entertainment never fails to disappoint thanks to the many traders and their eye catching wares, Mick from Northern Barbershop with his snipping and slick back style while The Blend Betties ensure the gals are in perfect refinement.

That crazy crowd of the Art Crew and their creative creations covering anything that passes their brushes while scooting around on peculiar pedal power add to the overall organised chaos of the show while Dingo and his rolling sound machine pumps out the cool classics as pitch perfect backdrop to an eye popping show.
The large bright dome that dominates the surrounding skyline and the complex houses the stunning meals area where many gathered for a bite to eat and a catch up with friends while others hit up the pizza man or other fast food vendors for a succulent meal on the go!

While this winds down the Rats, Tatts n Pinups events for the year, Rob and the team aren’t done yet as they will still be rocking on at the Vic Market as well as kicking back for fun and laughs with the Big bad Wolf social club at Sandown. Jump onto their site to check out the dates so you don’t miss out.
Once again, a big pat on the back to Rob, Lam, Nick, Jana, Goran, Nick, Spiz and all the other members of the Kingpin Kuztums team who continually put together a professional yet rambunctious event at the many splendid ALH venues located across Melbourne throughout the year!
Have yourselves a merry rockabilly style Christmas, stay safe, play up and we’ll see you all in the New Year for the first 2017 Rats, Tatts n Pinups at The Ferntree Gully hotel in January!
Cheers,
Greg
